SPACE invites you to join us in celebrating and honoring El Concilio by tuning in monthly to UkiahSpace YouTube channel to experience interviews with Concilio founders and learn about this essential local organization! “Unity and Education, Common Strength,” the motto of the Concilio Latino Americano del Condado de Mendocino, still resonates in the Latino community today. Started in 1970, the Concilio served the community from 1970 to 2008 and the year, 2020, marked 50 years of their impact on Mendocino County.

Viva la Cultura! is a series of performances and community events created by Ukiah's Latino Community beginning in 2005 and funded in part by the California Arts Council, the James Irvine Foundation, and donations from local businesses and individuals.
