Scott Spears

Scott Spears, Collaborating Video Artist, is an independent filmmaker based in Ukiah, CA. He has a degree in Film & Media Studies from UC-Irvine and is working towards an MFA in Film from Vermont College of Fine Arts. His list of credits include the Producer/Director of “The Barb Marshall Show” (a nationally broadcast public access talk show), director of the in-production web series “T.O.P.C.O.P.”, as well as director/writer of a number of short films, both creative and corporate. He has worked extensively as a film production educator and a live event videographer, specializing in government videography. His filmmaking workshop students have also produced a number of short films, both in class and on their own, one of which won a Bay Area broadcasting award.
