My name is Gwendolen van Wyk. I was born in LA and grew up in beautiful Lake County. I’ve been dancing since I was three years old and recently graduated from Lakeport Dance Center. It’s there that my love for dance was encouraged, challenged, and blossomed. And it’s here at SPACE that I was given the wonderful opportunity to share that love with the families of Ukiah! I think dance is a beautiful art and an experience that every kiddo should have. I’m constantly thinking of a quote on the wall of my childhood studio by Martha Graham, “Dance is the hidden language of the soul.” I hope you dance!
