Amanda Rosenberg, Education & Training Director

Amanda Rosenberg, Dance Theater Department Chair & Teacher Training, grew up taking classes at SPACE. She continued training at Mendocino College, Dance Mission in SF, and The Movement Lab in Santa Rosa. She’s been working at SPACE since 2006 training teen interns, teaching in the school-based program with Ukiah Unified School District, and teaching street dance fusion classes to students age 7 and up. For the past five years, Rosenberg and Near have co-created original shows with teens, giving voice to youth ideas and feelings. Amanda is now the main teacher trainer of SPACE’s Building Emotional Understanding (BEUTA) curriculum.
