Tim Poma
As a professional artist, I have worked on many projects throughout my career. One of my most notable experiences was with the Mendocino County Youth Project for four years, where I developed fun and engaging murals for the community to paint. I also worked with the Instilling Goodness and Virtue Girls School for two years, teaching photography and assisting with mural projects. I have also painted three community murals-- two on my own time, one on Perkins Street by the Art Depot another at the Skatepark and one at the Park Pool. Currently I am working as an artist in residence with the Frank Zeek School, developing creative and exciting ways for students to participate in large-scale art projects.
Collaborating with the communities and young people to create unique and inspiring artwork has been an incredibly fulfilling experience for me as a professional artist. I am excited to continue to bring people together, to share my passion for art and to contribute to the growth and development of aspiring artists in the future.
