Joni McLeod

Joni is thrilled to be back teaching at SPACE where she spent her early years learning, making friends and developing as a singer and performer. Back in the day, she got to be part of SPACE productions such as High School Musical, Honk!, and James and the Giant Peach before joining the a capella ensemble group, Breath. After graduating from SPACE in 2010, she went to Humboldt University, and then Arizona State University and received her board certification for behavior analysis. She now works as a Behavior Analyst when she isn’t working at SPACE and getting involved in local community and college musical theatre productions such as Avenue Q and The Wizard of Oz. One of her biggest dreams is to spread the “bug” of musical theatre in the hopes that it changes someone’s life as it did for her.  It has a way of bringing down your inhibitions and letting your confidence shine through, and Joni is very excited to work with her students to bring out their inner confidence beauty and talent, and have fun doing it.
